Lakeview Elementary Is Now a Project Lead The Way School!Top of Page
We are thrilled to announce that Lakeview Elementary School has officially become a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) school! Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, our students will begin engaging with hands-on, standards-based science and engineering learning through this innovative program.
What to Expect:

🧠 5th Grade students will dive into Robotics and Challenge Robotics modules, plus three additional STEM-focused modules designed to spark creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.

⚡ 4th Grade students will explore concepts of energy using VEX Robotics Kits, alongside three other exciting PLTW modules.

👩🔬 2nd and 3rd Grade students will begin their PLTW journey in the 2026–2027 school year.

🐣 TK–1st Grade students will join the program starting in 2027–2028, building foundational STEM skills through age-appropriate modules.
PLTW brings the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to life in our classrooms through real-world challenges, design thinking, and immersive learning experiences. We're proud to bring this nationally recognized curriculum to our students to prepare them for the future—one module at a time!
